Samsung SDI America, Inc. (Samsung SDIA) is a leading automotive supplier of lithium ion batteries used in electric vehicles. Samsung SDIA’s U.S. headquarters are located in Auburn Hills, Michigan with additional offices in San Jose, California. Samsung SDI is globally headquartered in Yongin, South Korea.   

Samsung SDIA is committed to providing high-quality rechargeable batteries and cutting-edge materials to the automotive industry. Samsung SDI recently entered a joint venture with Stellantis to build a battery factory in Kokomo, Indiana that will produce up to 33 GWh of lithium-ion battery cells and packs yearly. Including the joint venture, Samsung SDI expects to employ over 1400 persons in the United States by 2025.
