Audrey LaForest

Audrey LaForest is the Director of Communications at Alliance for Automotive Innovation.

Before joining the association, she was a public affairs specialist on the media relations team at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the nation’s top automotive safety regulator.

Prior to NHTSA, she spent more than a decade as a journalist, including four years covering automotive policy, regulation and vehicle safety as the chief Washington correspondent for Automotive News.

LaForest is a Detroit native and a graduate of Wayne State University.
